And Jesus went to hell to liberate the sinners, knowing full well their deeds. He encountered degeneracy, hate, greed, lust and many other "impurities" wherever he went. Is he any less pure?
I'm not talking about the real Jesus, I'm talking about the bible Jesus, as he appears in the stories. It doesn't matter wether he was real or not, anyway, but that's past the point.
Not equating Lain to Jesus. Just an example that purity has to do only with convictions and intentions, which can be immutable even in the face of strong ideological opposition, and not innocence, which you seem to imply.
